Meet the Doctor - San Jose Dentist Cosmetic and Family Dentistry

CamTu Nguyen, D.D.S.

Dr. CamTu Nguyen is originally from Southern California, where she attended her undergraduate degree in Biological Science from UCLA. Dr. Nguyen became a Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA in 1994, after which she moved to Bay Area to start a family. She currently resides in San Jose with her husband and three children.

Growing up, Dr. Nguyen knew that she wanted to be a healthcare professional because she loves taking care of people and making a difference in their lives. Today, she has 24 years of experience in providing preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental services to families, having worked as a General & Cosmetic Dentist in Bay Area since 1994.

In 1998, Dr. Nguyen opened First Choice Family Dental Office. Since opening, she has received and is currently serving three generations of patients in the dental practice.

In addition to her dental practice, Dr. Nguyen is a Member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara Dental Society.

Dr. Nguyen loves to continually educate herself by attending seminars and staying active with the local dental society. She’s very passionate about serving her patients, making sure that they feel comfortable and have a great, gentle dental experience. It is very important to her that her patients overcome their dental fears so they can receive the necessary treatment to be able to smile happily and confidently.

In her spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, watching movies, dining at new places, exercising and staying fit, reading self-improvement books and magazines, spending quality time with her family and friends, getting involved with her church in weekly services, and volunteering /community service.
